Welcome to the Korean Medicine-based Innovative Neuromodulation and Development Center (K-MIND Center). The K-MIND Center is a Medical Research Center (MRC) supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) since 2026.
Our core mission is to pioneer a new paradigm in treating brain network disorders—focusing on critical conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and cognitive decline—which represent the most pressing challenges of our super-aged society. To address these complex disorders, the K-MIND Center develops breakthrough dual-neuromodulation technologies that systematically merge the time-tested clinical wisdom of traditional Korean Medicine with cutting-edge biomedical engineering.
As a multidisciplinary "One-Team" connecting Pusan National University, Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital, Pusan National University Korean Medicine Hospital, and bio-industry partners, we bridge the gap between basic scientific discovery and clinical translation.
